Recipe: Milky Oats Tea

Add 2 heaping Tablespoons of Dry Milky Oats to 4 cups of water in a small pot. Heat on the stove over a low flame to slowly bring the tea up to a simmer. When simmering begins, turn off the flame and cover with a lid. Let steep another 10 minutes, or until the tea becomes cool enough to drink. Strain out the oats (DO NOT SWALLOW!) and serve with your favorite cream and sweetener, or ala carte! Oats have a natural sweetness and are great as a pure tea.

Optional: Roasted Milky Oats Tea - Carefully Dry Roast the Milky Oats on a stainless steel pan until seeds start to pop and aroma comes off the pan. When the Milky Oats start to brown, turn off the flame and remove the oats into a bowl or jar. Use the same recipe above to create a new flavor of your favorite milky oats tea, its delicious!
